If the roof of your concrete tank is collapsed or in need of a replacement, we can assist you with getting the old one off and a new one on.

Our tank roof is made using RHS bowstring trusses, which are designed to span the width of the tank without the need for supporting poles.

  • We fabricate our own galvanised roof trusses ,which are made to order to ensure a perfect fit.

Meeting the demand of water supply

Practical

Our roofs can be installed without the need to drain your tank! A huge plus if you don’t like skipping showers.

Dome Shape

Using bowstring trusses we are able to achieve that appealing dome shape which looks great and guarantees water run off.

Proven Design

This tank holds treated water which corroded the original roof to the point of failure, We were chosen to replace, as no part of our roof is in contact with the water.

  • Hot dip galvanized steel is durable and has a life span of around 70 years but this is dramatically reduced when submerged in water.

Versatile

Our tank roofs can installed on almost any tank like seen in this photo were the roof had to be fitted around a platform.

Frequently asked questions

  • When concrete is ordered the first question ready mix will ask you is, What MPA and stone size.
  • MPA put simply is how strong the concrete is
  • Typically house slabs are 20MPA, drive ways -25MPA and then you have 32 and 40MPA which is used for concrete tanks as well as tilt panels, bridges etc.
  • THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN MPA AND QUALITY THEY ARE ALL FIT FOR PURPOSE!

Vibration is so important when building concrete tanks it removes air pockets, which increases the density and strength.

Over vibrating will segregate concrete, which means the rock will sink to the bottom, leaving only sand and water (slurry) on top.

When concrete is poured steel mesh is always used, The type and size is dependent on what is being constructed. A engineer is who calculates this.

  • Put simply if you want a Quality tank make sure it comes with engineering drawings and the tank is built to those specs.
